Quarterly portfolio review checklist

Why quarterly beats daily panic

Daily price checks train reaction; quarterly reviews train governance. You compare the portfolio to the plan you wrote in calm markets — concentration, buffer, yield efficiency — and decide if action is due. Most quarters the right move is "no change."

Before you open Binance (10 min)

1. Re-read your one-sentence goal from portfolio building guide
2. Open dashboard and note health score + top 3 weights
3. Read market health and Fear & Greed for context only
4. Scan 5 review triggers — any firing?

Structure audit (10 min)

• Concentration — Any asset above your band? Concentration guide.
• Stablecoin buffer — Enough dry powder for planned DCA and peace of mind?
• Earn vs idle — Idle stables dragging yield score? Earn vs spot.
• Futures exposure — If you hedge, does notional show in your mental total? Futures exposure guide.
• Alt theses — Still valid per research framework?

Operations & security (5 min)

1. Export Binance CSV + Smitvi sync for the quarter — export guide
2. Revoke unused API keys; confirm read-only scopes
3. Update alert thresholds if weights shifted materially

Decision log (5 min)

Write one paragraph: what you observed, what you will do (including nothing), and the next review date. If rebalance is needed, use rebalancing basics and execute manually. Pair quarterly depth with weekly Friday radar reviews for lighter touch.
