Altcoin research framework

Research reduces ignorance; it does not eliminate risk. Altcoins can lose most of their value. This framework is for learning — not buy recommendations.

Before you open a chart

Define why this alt belongs in your book: sector bet, asymmetric upside, ecosystem exposure, or short-term momentum. If the answer is "Twitter said so," stop.

The 6-point checklist

Liquidity — USDT pair volume on Binance; wide spreads punish entries and exits.
Tokenomics — Unlock schedule, inflation, treasury concentration (read docs, not hype).
Sector context — Use Market Risk Radar to see if the sector is already crowded.
Portfolio impact — Will this push any holding past ~25%? Concentration guide.
Correlation — Alts often move with BTC; check dominance and your core weight.
Exit plan — Write invalidation (thesis break) before you buy, not after a dump.

When to pass
